Personal
I'm a Minnesota native, born and raised in St.Paul. While still in my 20's, I moved to the western suburbs of Minneapolis, specifically Minnetonka, Mn! Yes, Tonka Toys and the Moccasins really were made here! After graduating college with a degree in Business Admin, I joined my father in his business. He created the largest sheet metal fabrication company in the State! Great as it seemed for a decade, I had another calling. REAL ESTATE! But before becoming licensed, I met a girl while traveling for the company in Albany, NY. Little did I know that my decision to walk across the street from my hotel for dinner was going to change my life! Six months later we were married! Four years later our first child, Zoe, was born into this world. But wait a minute. What about Real Estate? As great of a story that that is, there isn't enough room here to tell you. My wife, Jennifer & I, took our real estate exams together in 1977, and started a career that spans over 30 years! Over that 30 +years, you can bet there are some stories to tell, and that's for another blog, but only if you ask. Three children later, and before relocating to Florida in 1990, we had invested the previous 13 yrs in real estate, serving the Twin Cities area. I also managed real estate offices for two major national real estate firms, building my office to over 100 agents, responsible for recruiting, training, & retaining them. Raising a family & spending time with my family became a priority. The demands of balancing a busy real estate career and quality time with family was overwhelming. The decision to move and raise the girls in a totally different climate seemed the right thing to do. In February of 1990 it was 60 degrees below zero when we left town! I think it was a sign that it was the right decision!
Feeling extremely fortunate to have found Martin County, FLORIDA, and all it has to offer right was a stroke of luck. If you've spent time here, you know what I mean. If you haven't, do call, and let me assist you with a condo to rent on the ocean or river, while you explore our lovely beaches and area. It won't take long to see why it's been nearly two decades later, and we're still here! Yes, the sun is great for your health and disposition, in moderation!
